Graduate Trainee

Responsibilities:
  • - Contribute to ROMA in expanding its businesses, in particular its internal control (“IC”), enterprise risk management and ESG consulting practice
  • - Work as a team member to provide high-quality execution of risk-related projects for listed and IPO clients
  • - Provide ESG consultancy and execution roles including the development of project documentation, delivery of project kick-off briefing, collection and review of information from client, key performance indicator (KPI) data comparison, provision of advice to client for ESG report quality enhancement and report writing
  • - Support in research projects related to ROMA’s risk advisory services
  • - Project management and delivery of various projects under tight schedules and in a professional manner
  • - Assist in brand-building activities for ROMA
  • - Perform other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • - University degree major in Accounting, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Social Science, or other related disciplines
  • - Preferably with 1 to 3 years experience in internal audit, financial audit, enterprise risk management advisory and/or ESG reporting services; CPA firm or other professional firm working experience is preferred
  • - Proactive, energetic and able to work independently, efficiently and under pressure
  • - Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
  • - Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • - High proficiency in Chinese word processing is required
  • - Limited travel is expected
  • - Candidates with less experience or fresh graduates with a positive learning attitude will be considered

Graduate Trainee (Risk Management)

Responsibilities:
  • - Contribute to ROMA in expanding its businesses, in particular its enterprise risk management and internal control (“IC”) assessment services  
  • - Perform enterprise risk management and IC assessment services for listed and IPO clients:
    •   ➛ Conduct assessments of operational, financial or business risks in various types of industries
    •   ➛ Identify, develop and test IC measures to ensure that our clients’ business processes are efficient, effective and compliant
    •   ➛ Provide sensible value-added recommendations
  • - Project management and delivery of various projects under tight schedules and in a professional manner
  • - Perform ad-hoc engagements required by clients
  • - Support in research projects related to ROMA’s risk advisory services
  • - Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentation materials, and contribute to the business development of ROMA
Requirements:
  • - Degree holder in accounting, business-related or other relevant fields; studying towards a relevant professional qualification such as CPA, CIA or CISA will be an added advantage
  • - Preferably with 1-3 years experience in risk management, financial audit within accounting firms or listed companies
  • - Proactive, energetic and able to work independently, efficiently and under pressure
  • - Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
  • - Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • - High proficiency in Chinese word processing is required
  • - Limited travel is expected
  • - Candidates with less experience or fresh graduates with a positive learning attitude will be considered

ESG Internship (4 months, Start Date: October 2022)

Responsibilities:
  • - Contribute to ROMA in expanding its businesses, in particular its ESG consulting practice;
  • - Work as a team member to provide high-quality execution of ESG projects for clients across a wide range of industries;
  • - Manage the projects in a professional manner and on a timely basis;
  • - Perform research and contribute to the business development of ROMA;
  • - Collaborate with other service lines within ROMA; and
  • - Perform other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned. 
Requirements:
  • - Undergraduates in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Social Science, or related study in the university in China or overseas;
  • - Preferably with related job experiences;
  • - Knowledge of GRI and other sustainability reporting guidelines;
  • - Proactive, energetic and able to work independently, efficiently and under pressure in a demanding and fast pace environment;
  • - Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills;
  • - Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
  • - High proficiency in Chinese word processing is required.
